Unable to update

     Anybody else getting "Network not available, please check the network" message ? when try to update. I have working internet connectivaity. Try multiple support phone numbers, all I get are phone recordings and make me leave message after 10 min. of waiting and forcefully HANG up on me.

     Corrupt init.xml file fixed remotely by Tech Support. Try calling 323-391-2963 after much waiting but with better luck.

    If it is corrupted here's Autel's fix:



    We are busy checking this issue on our side these days. 
     
    Here are the solutions that we find so far.  
    1. Please do not use WiFi and Ethernet connection at the same time. You can connect to Internet either via WiFi or LAN connection. 
     
    2. Try the settings on Maxisys as below: 
        Find out the Maxisys icon on the tablet, keep pressing the Maxisys icon, and then you will see "App Info" at the top of Maxisys tablet; 
        Move the Maxisys icon into "App Info", and then click "Force stop" and "clear data" buttons on the new screen to stop progress and remove the datas.
       
    3. Press "Root Explorer" on Maxisys, go to /mnt/sdcard/scan/, and check if there is a "init.xml" file. If there is such a file, please delete the file and then test if you can connect to Internet and download the updates on Maxisys

     Thank you. That was what the Autel tech did. However, I have only connected using WiFi , not wired ethernet. As to why the file was corrupted in the first place I have no idea.

     Okay I found the init.xml file but cannot see any option or way to delete it. Any suggestions on how to proceed?

     Okay I deleted init.xml but the `unable to connect to network` persists even though the browser connects fine, which is how I am able to post here.

     Update: All working fine when I rebooted my MS908 after deleting the init.xml file. Thanks for the help.
